I heard a transcription of Faure's Dolly Suite for clarinet, flute and piano this morning on the radio. The author of the transcription and the clarinet player was Michael Webster of Rice University, performed by the Webster Trio (I think). Intonation was spot on (ever hear a piano, flute, and clarinet in perfect unison or thirds for extended runs? You will!), the piece exciting, and I'm going to go out and buy this one. It is really a work of art!

Does anyone know where to track the music down for this one? Our trio has been trying forever to find it, but to no avail. Maybe we're looking in the wrong place.
Thanks.

Thanks for the link, Mark. I've just now e-mail Prof. Webster. I'll let everybody know what I find out.
Cheers!

Dear All,
I just heard back from Mike Webster. If you're interested, the Dolly Suite is available as an International Publication along with arrangements of Brahms Hungarian Rhapsody, among others.
Happy clarineting.
