Can anyone fill me in on this magnificent musician's recordings and life? I am just completely swept off my feet, his musicality, his showmanship, his LOOKS, wow.
Thanks
:)

Facts about Fröst: His recording company is BIS (www.bis.se). Apparently there are six recordings of him. In 1997 he won the Geneva Competition in Switzerland (www.concoursgeneve.ch). That's all I found out during my quick search on Google.
You are right, he is quite handsome (I would say second place following Paul Meyer on the cover of his Weber recording...)

P.S: Are you going to the Clarinetfest in Stockholm this summer?

Don't know much about him either,
He won the last Geneva international music competition for clarinet. I read is biography once in the cover of the cd of the competition which was at my teacher's (who himself was judge at this one competition), but I don't remember much of it. I read that he only had taken lesson in Sweden and nowhere else.
I analysed a recording of his performances at competition. Very musical man. Though, some pieces had mistakes (such as in the first part of the Armin Schibler concertino), and he did struggle with the technical bit in the Nielsen concerto. But that happens in competitions. My teacher said he didn't prepare himself well enough. I find Fröst excellent at contempory music though.
I saw on some pictures that he played buffet festival or RC Prestige (couldn't see the difference). He probably also plays hard reeds, the sound he has tells it, as well as the air ecaping from his lips.
that's all I know
Daniel
