Hi all,
Currently I played a Buffet Bb RC clarinet and recently I met a friend who plays a Bb RC prestige. I started to look for the differences between these two clarinets. As far as I know, the bell of the RC prestige is constructed very differently from the normal RC bell. Thus I took borrowed the bell and try it out and I found that my tone becomes more focused and it speaks better.
So may I know where can I get such bell which is similar to the prestige bell and without any metal ring ( which means that the whole bell is black in colour like the Elite clarinet bell). Anyone knows?? Thanx...
Best Rgds,
Andy

I'd just contact your nearest Authorized Buffet dealer and ask what they would charge for that part. Then I'd call some of the mail order companies and get it cheaper!!!

Due to physical misalignment, a clarinet bell may sound better or worse depending upon rotational position of the bell. Try rotating it to various positions to find the best position. This is done in the factory on certain clarinets before the logo is stamped on. Good luck!!
