Hi friends...
I've posted before looking for a barrel that will work on my SILVER KING metal clarinet to no real avail. Wondering if there are any other bulletin boards I can post on in an effort to find a barrel. I know that some of the SILVER KINGS came with two barrels...one for tuning at 440 and the other at I believe 443...and I d be interested in locating someone with both that might spare one....again no luck...
SO...are there any other boards? Thanks....

I've never really figured out why many metals dont have barrels, unless they get "stolen" by Silva Bet owners with the adjustable-tuning barrel "frozen" beyond repair. Keep looking in flea markets and junk stores [repair shops etc] and you may find one that fits!! There are some other cl sites, but this is the very best with friendly, knowledgeable folks as evidenced by the above [and below] threads. Luck, Don

CLARINATOR --
Have you checked out saxophone sites, especially since we're dealing with a metal instrument? Some of the sites have links to collectors/dealers in vintage saxophones; one of them may have what you're looking for or be able to point you in a productive direction. Or even be able to fabricate a replacement barrel.
Good luck with your search,
Todd W.
