I was just wondering if it is required to have an education to tryout for a professional orchestra.

I mean college degree. Not that I am 100% ready to try out for an orchestra just yet

The ONLY requirement held forth by professional orchestras is, "How well do you play?" They may also require some background listing professional experiance but the bottom line is performance, not PHDs. Good Clarineting!!!!!!!
