You can check their prices easily yourself by looking at their catalog and/or calling - they're competitive.

I've always had great service with Muncy. They are my
primary supplier. At times the prices are a little higher but
I will still order from them because of the excellent customer
service by people who know about what they are selling.

They are absolutely the greatest!!!! I use them for everything. I just bought two horns from them and I take all of my students over there (they're a couple of hours from here) to buy new horns. They're repair section is also very fine. They are very knowledgeable. I think you will enjoy working with them.

I know my teacher sends students there... We're about 4 hours away. She also orders a lot of supplies from them and says she feels they are competetive price-wise and offer great service. They were very helpful the one time I spoke to someone in their clarinet section on the phone. You should know that they're closed a lot of Saturdays, in case you're planning to go out to their shop.

I've bought 2 instruments from them as well as a bunch of small stuff. No problems, no complaints. Had a warranty job done on an R13 (a tenon was sticking, and the 2 joints were stuck together) with no problems or delay, the re-shipment was same day as received.
Like most of the mail order houses, most instruments are NOT priced in the catalog, you must call for the prices. A bonus to me as they threw in free shipping when I wavered a bit. UPS ground runs 2 - 3 days to South Jersey from there (N. Carolina.)

They are great, i have three Eb clarinets from them on appoval right now. They have great prices, better than IMS but the only inconvience for me is that they are a long distance away so trying alot of something is quite difficult

Great service and follow up. I recently ordered three boxes of reeds which all turned out to have been boxed incorrectly at the factory(2-1/2 instead of 3-1/2) ... I called them around noon their time and they checked the rest of their stock which were also incorrect. I expected to wait another week or so, but they arranged for Rico to send the correct reeds via Next Day Air prepaid so that I would have them the following day. On top of all of this, I received an e-mail the next day apologizing for the error that wasn't their's in the first place. I couldn't have asked for better service !!
