Would anyone be familiar with this model and how much you would expect to pay for a good condition used instrument?

I have a Noblet Artist that I purchased in France in 1964. I played it through school and think it is a very good instrument. It is still in the Leblanc catalog, and is virtually unchanged as far as I can tell. A current mail order catalog lists the price as $819. I see them come up frequently on ebay and my impression is that they seem to sell in the $150-200 range. There is also a Noblet 40, and in the past there were other Noblet numbers, not the same as the Artist. The Artist is the Noblet 45. There is a picture of one in the current Woodwind catalog mislabelled as a Normandy 4. Watch out for ebay sellers who don't correctly identify the model.

According to LeBlanc (the parent company of Noblet) I believe the Noblet "Artist" model was listed as model 145; sort of a notch above the very high-quality model 45 (the one with the famous diamond-shaped logo; the "Artist" model had the word "Artist" engraved above the diamond-shaped logo at the top of the upper joint) The model 45 had simply the diamond-shaped logo with the word "Noblet" engraved inside it. There was a model 40 Noblet that was below the model 45; and at one time in the past there was even a model 41 which was quite highly regarded and also a model 27.

I forgot to include this information with my previous post...I have purchased a Noblet model 45 Bb soprano clarinet in relatively good condition (needing only minor work to put it in good playing condition) for as little as $100....and I have seen reconditioned ones going for $400 to $900 and everywhere in between. I have seen Noblet model 40's going for $250 to $550 for the most part.
