"18-20 Passage du Grand Cerf" was the address of Buffet-Crampon & Cie. Don't know how long they occupied this address, but they had been there quite a while when I was there in 1968.
It was an amazing scene. There was a dusty old picture window, with the glass cracked, of Benny Goodman holding a buffet. And they had row upon row, floor to ceiling, of 3' deep cubbie holes about 6" square, each with a clarinet rolled up in a paper tube.
Is that bari high pitch or low pitch? Or rather, what is the frequency of its A concert?

They used to be there. Now BC operates from its factory at Mantes la Ville. Did BG play a Buffet. I thought he played mostly on Selmer, although I stand ready to be corrected.
