 Denis Noblet clarinet

Hi, -

Leblanc has a line of Noblet clarinets that are good intermediate/student models. But, what about older Denis Noblet instruments? Are they intermediate model too? Denis Noblet was considered one of the best clarinet makers in the world. Anyway, I do have Denis Noblet clarinet that probably was made by Leblanc in the 50’s and not the Man himself. I would like to know about this model a bit more. Markings on the clarinet: Lyre with a "D" inside, oval with "NOBLET" and "PARIS" inside, overlapping "D" and "N" below. All parts are marked this way, only UJ has "Made in France" inscribed on it. Serial number 5XXC appears on both UJ & LJ.

Thank you in advance,

Vytas

Hi, -

Has the Noblet always been considered an "intermediate" instrument? TIA
