Does anyone have any information as to the whereabouts of Ignacius Genusa? I took some lessons from him in the 1970s. I was trying to find out some of the orchestras that he played in and some general history.

I heard he was living in Ocean City, Md. I know he taught at Peabody for a while and played in the Baltimore Symphony. Other than that, I don't know much else about him.

Check out recent editions of "The Clarinet" - he is usually mentioned somewhere, usually in an ad.

He's around because I saw him at Clarinetfest in New Orleans. He's still a character and still makes some really nice mouthpieces.
