I was wondering what reed combination you find works best for you, if you play on a kaspar mouthpiece. Please let me know your opinions and thanks!

Right now it is my own reeds I make on the Reedual. I can get v12's to work, but I have to narrow them down on the sides to make them work. I use 4 1/2 for those

Kaspar mouthpieces are approximately 13mm wide at the tip. Vandoren V12 reeds range from 13.2 to 13.3 mm at the tip.
If you are having trouble with the adaptability of the V12's to the Kaspar, you might try narrowing the tip of the reed...GBK

V12 3.5 narrowed with my shaper to match the taper (tip to butt) of the Morre' 2 1/2 German cut 12.5mm tip width. Sanding the the entire side of the reed to narrow only the tip is inaccurate for me and I don't end up with the proper taper from butt to tip of the reed. I do sometimes try to narrow the V12 to a tip width of 13mm (which the shaper is capable of doing) if I think that's all the reed needs.
Actually I have some very old boxes of Morre' German Cut 2 1/2 12.5mm tip (now defunct) that I use up VERY slowly and only for special occasions. This is the ideal combination for every Kaspar that I've played. This is the reed that I try to replicate with the shaper using modern day reeds.

V12's were manufactured as a direct result of the Morre' reed becoming defunct about 15 years ago. And they were introduced shortly after Morre' going out of business. Not a coincidence. It certainly wasn't Robert or Bernard Vandoren's idea. If you search the archives there are several threads about the Morre' vis-a-vis the V12 that I've posted in the past..

I use the Vandoren V12s with all my mouthpieces--including my Kaspar. I generally find the #3 to be the best one with it. I would have to agree with Greg and others above that the V12s are one of the best reeds on the market. I don't have any Moree' reeds--but can usually find some good ones out of a box of Vandoren 12s.

Vandoren Black Masters are a bit narrower than the standards or V-12s and work well on my Chicago Kasper. But then I decrease the width a smidgen on almost every reed.
Greg - I've found that a large, fine-cut flat file is easier to use than sandpaper for this purpose.

Another thing to consider may be to use a ligature of stiff construction to hold securely the reed at the same position if reed and rail widths much differ. An ill formed Bonade or ligatures of flexibly construction, did not work with my Kasper-cicero when I did not bother the mouthpiece rail end and reed heel width differences. A Harrison worked well.
Alexander Classic, a MORRE copy too, may be worth a try.
I think round-off the profiler cut edges of reed tips and side walls would be good if properly done.
