Has anyone besides me been having difficulty connecting to Sneezy in the last few days? The only way I could get on today was to go to Sherman Friedland's Corner and go to the Bulletin Board from there.

If your browser or a proxy cached a bad link somewhere then it's possible that you're retrieving junk, but getting here via Sherman Friedland's Corner wouldn't help.
I think it's coincidence.

Many times over the past months, a whole different listing pops up when I type in sneezy's address. Sometimes I will have to scroll down quite a ways to find the clarinet pages or another listing that will connect me. I think it is mostly my server. Ever since the header changed from GTE to Verizon (suposedly the same company), I have encountered many changes in format, dependability, and accessability on the net. For one whole week, www.sneezy.org got zero results on my computer.

There are a zillion things that can go wrong ... not finding Sneezy at all normally means a failure of your provider's DNS. There's been a few occasions when Sneezy's not available for a few minutes due to a programming problem, but that's normally not for more than a few minutes.

I thought I could provide a little help here and pinged www.sneezy.org for its IP address. To my surprise, I get to "to Abhay's Homepage".

Why does this happen, Mark? Another clarinet miracle I have to solve? This instrument is foll of surprises.

but didn't ask for the right sides (http://www.sneezy.org/whatever).
So the machine (server) gave you the default content.

Yup. The IP address of Sneezy.org serves 30 or so different web servers. It's called name based serving and is very, very common.
