 Assuming the horn is in F and the clarinet in Bb, then:
 
 When a horn player says "A", he means concert D. A clarinettist calls this "E".
 
 The simplest way to remember this is that the clarinet sounds one key flatter than the horn, so the notes are named one key sharper. So a horn player's C is a clarinettist's G, G is D and so on.
