Check the classifieds. The webmaster is very clear about solicitations on this bulletin board. The words "non-commercial use only! are even in bold letters. There is a link to the classifieds at the top of the page. You could post an "instrument wanted" in the classifieds.
Local dealers may have one. Have you made any inquiries with them.

Hey, lighten up jbutler. He's on the "wrong side of the river" and customs etc would eat him up.. I don't see this as a solicitation but more of an information query as to what local sources he has (if any).
Diz--You might do a "search" on this BB for other cobbers and also check with Gordon(NZ) he must have many local sources for you to check.
Check also the thread on the 16th of this month on "import duties." It will give you an idea of importion problems
Throw another shrimp on the 'barbie", pop a Fosters and have a Merry Christmas.

You could try Paul Barby in Melbourne, I know he often stocks second hand stuff and he gives very good prices. He sold my old pair for me at a very fair price.
On VB: matter of fact, I got it now!
See ya.
(Sorry to any non Aussie who will not have a clue what that last line is on about)

People - I can see this turning into a "cliche" competition which is VERY tedious - apart from anything else - the aussie sense of humour is very subtle (not). And, in point of fact - I hate beer - much prefer a nice glass of red wine whilst listening to Mozart's concerto.

Diz,
Last I heard, For Winds (in Paddington Brisbane) had a second had Eefer in. You could give them a call (07) 3368 1154, and ask.
