Hello All,
Just a question on where to find the listing of Graded Clarinet Solo's. I know that there is or must be a list on this.
Thanks,
Miles

The New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) ranks all music for their competitions on a level from one to six, with level six being the most difficult. All categories (vocal, band, ensembles, and individual instruments) are ranked accordingly. The NYSSMA manual can be purchased from their web site.
Other states hold similar solo and ensemble competitions, and their listings will vary slightly from state to state. Some states rank their music on 5 different levels, some on 4, etc.....GBK

In England you should get the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) syllabus. That has a full list of everything required for their exams (lowest being grade 1 and highest grade 8).
Don't really know if that's what you want. There is also Trinity Colleges exams but they are not rated as high as ABRSM ones.
Sarah.

One of Sponcers to this site, J&D Hite, has a good 'Clarinet Study Guide".
