 My mystery clarinet
Author: Clarence

My parents bought me a second hand clarinet when I took up music aged 13, many many years ago! The manufacturer is
F Buisson , model 90, Distributers 'Dallas' London. I know nothing about this manufacturer and would be grateful for any information.

Buisson is a trade name employed by Dallas instruments for woodwinds made by V. Kohlert's Sohne.

John E. Dallas and Sons (est. 1875) was (is?) based out of London and sold (sells?) both woodwind and brass instruments. The Cabart line is theirs.

V. Kohlert's Sohne (1880-1945) was based out of Graslitz and founded by Rudolf, Daniel, and Franz Joseph, sons of Vincenz Kohlert.
