What do you as the clarinet community think of the new M15 series? What mouthpiece does the m15 closely resemble?

I've tried several. I think they are very nice. They seem to have a lot of color in the sound. They remind me of some of the refaced kaspers I've played which have E.Matson type facings. They recommend 4.5 reeds. I found that a 4 strength V-12 works pretty well. As with any mouthpiece, play as many as you can get your hands on. They do vary quite a bit.

I'd have to agree on the variation bit. I tried out a bunch of M15's before I settled on one. I'm finding some of the softer V12 4.5's to work out very well for me, and I like the sound I'm able to produce on it very much.
Make sure to try both the "13" and normal versions (you'll see a little number 13 in an oval on the side of the mouthpiece near the cork).

I like the mouthpiece. I tried one out last summer and was very surprised with it. I liked the sound and the articulation was good. I still like the Kasper I am playing on, but I found the mouthpiece almost on parr with it. I decided to buy it as one of my back up mouthpieces.
