Frist question:
Is there any chance that next year there can be more categories or "levels" for the competiton so that some of us less talented players can have a chance? no offense
2nd question:
Is Devil's Dance just a clarinet solo or is there accompinament? And can someone tell me why my printer cut off the last 2 notes of each line?
3rd Question:
Most times when I start to play, my throat notes "buzz" It has done this for a really long time, and usually I can get it to quit after a few minutes of adjusting and readjusting the reed and lig, but it is a pain. And sometimes it comes back. Can anyone tell me why?
Thanx

Since The Devil's Dance was my arrangement, I can answer #2. It is an unaccompanied piece, arranged from Stravinsky's "Soldier's Tale" for 6 instruments and percussion. My guess about the printer cutting off notes is that you need to adjust the margins for printing just a little wider.
Some ideas about #3....maybe your reed is dry when you first start playing, or do you have some leaking pads?

As you know, the throat notes are weak anyway but the buzz may come from a broken skin on one of the pads; if it is a really good (or do I mean bad) buzz then that is the most likely reason
