Are these the same instrument or is there a difference?

Don't know about the technical specs but there is one major difference. The Evette is DISCONTINUED and hasn't been available new for quite some time while the E-11 is current.

Hi.
From what I've heard the Buffet Evette is the equivalent of the E11, a current model. Basically, the Evette is an older version.

Another difference is that Evettes were made in France, while E11's are manufactured in Germany. Check the labels and you'll see.

Well, my friend has one from France. Hmm, this is weird.

Some Evettes were made in W. Germany, some in France. Most of the French-made Evettes, however, were the Evette Master Models (and most of the plain-jane Evettes were manufactured in Germany).

About how much is an E11 today? there seems to be a list price and then an actual price that's customary.
