 F-G and G-A Trills
Author: sarah

Does anyone know of a reliable fingering for the trill from high F to G? And also high G to A? In concert band we had to sight read a piece that we will be working on in the spring that was FULL of these trills.

High F to High G:

TR oxxC#/oooEb (use standard high F fingering) and trill second finger left hand

If possible (on R-13),I usually try to add the rh sliver key to raise the pitch of the high F&G

High G to High A:

TR oxx/xxoEb and trill 1st and 2nd fingers in right hand
or
TR xoo/xxoEb and trill TR and 1st finger left hand...GBK
