I've searched through all the past threads, and I haven't been able to find the answers I would like. Would some of you gurus enlighten me about the Buffet RC versus say the R-13? I know that it has a conical bore and so forth, but why does that make it special?
Thanks!

I've had my RC a couple of months now. I had 9 R13s and 4 RCs to choose from and put the RCs above the R13s. To me the tone was more mellow and deep, exactly the sound I'm looking for. The R13s seemed to have a certain rasp or something that I just did not like at all. Obviously it's all personal choice but to me the sound of the RCs were far far superior to the R13s. Other's have different ideas to mine i'm sure but I'm very very happy with my RC and would not change it for the world!
