music for Bb inst/ C inst and piano

I've had a request from a local CCRC for my Mom, my daughter and myself to do a very informal program. I'm looking for pieces that have parts for Bb (clarinet), C (either flute, violin or oboe) and piano and that's within the easy/intermediate range since it needs to be worked up fairly quickly. Can be holiday or non-holiday. I'd appreciate any suggestions on pieces or where to look for them. TIA

A good place to start is the Sneezy composition base. It can be searched by instrumentation, or by number of performers if you are unsure of a specific title.

You might want to go down to your local band store and take a look. There are coordinated sets of books that could be used and are generally in the range of easy to play. For example, I have a set for Sacred Solos (or something like that). There is a piano book, a flute book, a clarinet book, etc. For this set, the non-piano instruments would all have the solo line. However there are coordinated sets of duets and trios. The clarinet could pick any of the clarinet lines and the oboe could pick any of the oboe lines to get a harmonized sound.

If you can transpose decently (or have time to write out a transposed part), try the Bach Concerto in d minor for two violins. It doesn't go too high and the second movement is beautiful and not too hard- it requires good phrasing and tone but not a great deal of technique. Or, try the third movement for a challenge.

Ditto on Micaela's note. There are also endless numbers of trio sonatas for two C treble instruments and keyboard. My favorite could be one for two oboes by Vivaldi, published by Musica Rara. Many of Telemann's and Handel's trio sonatas are wonderful and not too hard.
Good luck!
