 "A" prefix serial # Vitos
Author: Dave

I've read that the "A" prefix serial # Vitos are preferred over others. What is the significance of the "A" prefix? Where they were made, a particular design.....?

I'm not totally sure, but I think I read somewhere they have a .577" bore. I know a couple guys that love them for jazz gigs when fitted with the right mouthpiece.

What mouthpieces are being used for this?

Well, this is kind of nice to know. I just checked my Vito and it's got the A prefix. I've liked the sound of this clarinet since I bought it.
