I got the box from Chris yesterday. He sent me 4 barrels and I picked 2 of them up right away. I tried almost every barrels in today market. I can tell you "Try him".

I've been looking for the barrel gives me a dark sound with volume on my Leblanc. I found one from his. Another one I picked gives me more volume and brightness. Also, they look cool, and cheap.

Charles, English "as she should be spoke" question. You said, in part:
"Also, they look cool, and cheap." My generation doesn't care about "cool" but they do about "cheap." Are you saying they look cheap or that they are cheap? And, if they are are cheap, "cheap" as compared to what? Price range please?

My poor English! JEPP barrel is $70. They are cheaper than any other custom wooden barrel.

HEY....
I've been "shouting" about JEPP for months now. He really does make good stuff.
Yeah they look cool. Play very well. AND....you ought to try one or two.....Chris Jepperson who makes them is a great guy.
