Go for it! Sounds like you have a good band with good moral. What size school (2A,3A,4A,5A)?

Looks like they're 4A - which is about right for a city its size.
Every time I drive through, I can't help but imagine what it would be like if the SSC had been funded.
Break a leg - you will never forget this moment down in Austin.

This is the 2A and 4A year. Tx has now gone to alternating years for schools. Next year will be the 1A, 3A, and 5A year. State marching contest is not always in Austin anymore. I think that the 4A's are marching in Waco, but not I'm not for certain.

The Spirit of Waxahachie Indian Band is a 4A school. We went to the state marching contest in Waco, but failed to make finals--we made 10th position.
On a positive note, the band that made tenth two years ago--the contest is held for 4A every other year--won state!
