 Hand position
Author: Crystal G. Medina
Date:   2001-10-22 23:05

Hello fellow clarinetist,

I hope everyone is doing well. I am having a problem. My hand position isn't so great and recently I have had to stop playing for 2 weeks I just started getting back on the ball but some pain still persist.

What should I do to not become injuried again? And what is the correct way of handling the clarinet?

Thanks a bunch

Julie DeRoche has an excellent article on hand position in a recent publication of the Leblanc Bell. Perhaps you can get access to it.
