My have a BUNDY. It was bought back in 1987. It is Resonite. Made by the Selmer Company in the USA. Number 133****. Does anybody know what this is worth?

Miranda: Go to eBay. Search for bundy clarinet. When that screen appears, click on Show Completed Items. You will then see a list of all Bundy clarinets sold through eBay within the previous month or so. Remember that prices may vary, even by ten-to-one, depending on the specific instrument's condition. You'll see that your clarinet might be worth something like fifty to a hundred bucks -- maybe more, maybe less.
Regards,
John

Depends on condition...

I paid $150 at local shop for a used one 7 years ago with good pads. My son has used it since including 3 and a half marching seasons, we've changed 2 pads and done no other work. It has done just what it was needed for. (He used it in Elem school and for HS marching band, he has an R13 now for the rest.) It will soon need at least $150 worth of work. What's it worth??? $150 -$150 =0 (I'd say I'll make it into a lamp when the time comes but that would generate at least 40 posts, I suspect it will stay in a closet as a backup horn for my older Signet Special or his R13.)

However repadding a horn for $150 that you know to be otherwise mechanically sound would be better than risking buying one off eBay of unknown condition.

Resonites are on the more expensive line of Bundies if they're older and in good condition. I have a mediocre 1962 Resonite myself, worth about $150.
