i've played classical all my life. never played any jazz nor have i listened
how can i get started? is it good on clarinet?
what's the diff?

Jazz is wonderful. If you have been playing classical for a while it is not too hard to play jazz on clarinet; there are just some new techniques to learn. It is easier to go from classical to jazz than jazz to classical.

Well, for a differing opinion, I think it's a lot easier to go from jazz to classical than from classical to jazz. Of course, this is just my opinion, but I offer one point to think about, improvisation . . .
