 can play in tempo, help.

Dear all professional,

Maurice Ravel Daphnis et Chloe Suite No.2

I couldn't play in tempo ... how can i play the hight note so fast? Any tips?
4 clarinets parts both important pratice pieces ( I hope u agree), how can i pratice them easier ( happy ) ?

pratice for 2 hours... only can play 6 bars....

sad....Thanks...

D et C makes a lot of us "sad" also. Practice slowly, work on finger coordination and eveness of technique, every day of practice for the next few years. Then hope for a conductor with a somewhat steady beat.

William is so right about the steady beat. You can practice your butt off and finally learn the passage, but if the conductor decides his personal musical nuances are more important than a steady beat, your doomed any way. Good luck. Been there, done that, but not well, unfortunately.
