does any one know how to weaken a plastic reed i've trien fileing it down but it didnt hel much

The answer to your question depends on several factors. However, there is a technique available to work on plastic reeds that, if you are very careful, you can tailor a plastic reed to your needs. Note that I didn't say "weaken". I said "tailor". There is a difference here, because it's the amount of force that you use and the amount of material that you scrape off that can make an okay reed into a terrible reed with one swipe, so be very careful.
Use a very sharp knife to shave very very thin slices of material off the reed. You will want to shave the reed perpendicular to the knife, so the slices come off really thin like a razor. You're better off shaving the top part of the reed and making a series of very narrow shavings to help keep the reed's contour in proportion. See the Legere reed page for more details.
