I have a problem. This coming Friday, I have to go and play in a marching band. I have a hard time playing the high notes on the clarinet, and I have to play 3 songs with all high notes. Do you have any tips that I could use? If so, please e-mail me BEFORE FRIDAY!!! Don't reply here, cuz, I usually don't go here, so just e-mail me if you can help!!!

Try using a reed that is a size harder than you usually play. That should help your upper range, though it may make throat tones airy. Good luck!

Good airflow is a key to successful high notes. Have good breath support, thumb pressure and a firm embouchure.
Don't try to halfheartedly 'sneak' in to a high note. Timid playing is a major cause of problems up there.
Good luck.

Raise your eyebrow. =) Always works for me. Or try dropping octaves if absolutly necessary.
