I have just purchased a Levit clarinet, it is made in Paris does anyone know how old it is or if it is a good bad or average make. Thanks

It's not listed in <B>The New Langwill Index</B>, so I can't help you that way. Sorry.

He is not listed under Makers by Rendall, and I checked the Groves Dict. [using all 4 combinations of i and e] , no luck!. Its possible he was one of the large number of little-known makers, or that your cl may be a "stencil" horn. Sorry
