Hello! Does anyone know where can I get one of those gold crayons that you rub in your clarinet's logos? About how much do you think it will cost? Thank you!

You can get them at Ferree's http://www.ferreestools.com/ hope I did that right.
I'm not sure how much 'cause I'm trying to order one myself and waiting for an email from them with the info. I'll pass it along as soon as I get it.

The Ferree's part number is D48 (gold trademark crayon), and it costs $2.20 plus shipping.

I also like the 'Van Gogh' brand available at most artist supply stores.
Also available around $2USD.
A caution about using these... apply some clear wax AROUND the area to be filled. This will keep the crayon from working into the pores of your clarinet.
I burnish the logo afterwards with a bamboo skewer (I suppose a wooden pencil would work, too) to set the crayon in well.

Anji,
How do you apply the wax around the area to be filled? What type of clear wax do you use?
Thanks,
Kevin Stockdale
