I'm writing this time to talk about reeds. I'm not sure but i would like to say alot if not most people play on vandoran, if you don't theres no need to reply saying what you use. For all others who do, this might interest you. Vandoran have made some changes in the reed making. If you buy a new box you will notice they are flat at the tip and there is not enough cane on the reed. This makes them not last, articulation is no good, and they are EXTREMELY soft. I know it has to be a crisis for those who are professional players. If you have anything to say about this please share.
Thanks~

Are you speaking of Traditional, V-12s, or both?

Yes i have noticed this, Its a pain so i decided to modify them into quarter strengths with a vandoran reed clipper(they dont make them any more) and then sand them down with a bit of fine sand paper perferably wet and dry sand paper, make sure you use even strokes from the outside in on both sides. Hope that helps.

Got a box some three months ago, and they're fine with me, too. Got to get another set, soon, too.
