Hi..I'm looking for a nice piece for clarinet ensemble. I think that there will be 4 or 5 Bb clarinets and 1 bass clarinet. Not too difficult but not too easy one...any suggestion? Thank you!!

I own a pice called "Gateway Pipers." I'm not sure about the level of difficulty though, because I haven't had the chance to play it with a large group to see individual responses. I think it's a good ensemble starting piece, though (from what i've played of it). It's written for either 4 Bb sopranos, or 2 Bb sopranos, and alto, and a bass. May not be exactly what you want, but it's an idea.

Won,
If you like early Baroque music you can play some of the many recorder ensembles. There are usually four voices and you'll have to transpose. The pieces are usally short and simple. The German music publishers have loads of these pieces.
