Anyone out there use Finale Printmusic? I've written out 2 parts that were missing from a score and that went fine accept that it's 7 pages long! The original parts are 3-4 pages long. How can I make the measures smaller so I can condense these pages to make them more managable? I know I can use the "train thingie" (measure mover) but that's tedious and still doesn't make smaller measures. My instruction manual that came with the program is as clear as mud! TIA

Beth, I use Finale, so I'm not sure about the features of Print Music. However, if you're a registered user, you can go to:
http://forums.codamusic.com:82/~techsupport
and post your question there in the Print Music area.
Good luck!

While I have PrintMusic!, I don't use it much. However, check the help files. In general, I think you can select the entire score and then tell it to put so many measures per line for the entire piece. I know I've done it, it's just been too long for me to remember the exact steps.

Ok here it is.
Click on the mass mover icon (the little train). Then click on "MassMover" on the menu bar. Then click on "Fit Music". Now simply fill in how many measures per line you want and select either "Whole Document" or select the measures. Click "OK" and you are done.

Thanks Dee and Dan for your help! I have so many more pieces waiting in the wings to be worked on. I also posted a question on finales' web site for help on how to set this feature up when using the wizard/template at the beginning.
