In the third movement of Weber's First Concerto, there is a jump from A to high C. It is located in the passage starting with eighth notes (B - E - F sharp) going into the half notes. Following this is the phrase beginning with the G - G-sharp - A.
My question is this. Every recording I have heard plays the jump as C to high C, rather than A to high C as written, in the arrangement I have. Does my copy just have a misprint, or have people just been playing it as a C because it would be more natural to resolve to the C rather than an A, and have just been 'instinctively' playing a C? I apologize for being somewhat vague about the part I am talking about, but I do not have a copy of the piece in front of me at the moment. Thanks for any insight into my question!

Your copy has a misprint. Four eighth notes followed by a half note are E D C C Bb. All clarion notes.

As a side note, have you gotten Harold Wright's recording of this? It was recommended to me, and I'd recommend it to anyone else who has questions on this piece!!!
