 TWIGG reeds???
Author: john gibson

Hey guys...
was looking through ebay and saw for sale TWIGG reeds. Seller says they're made by Glotin specifically for music store usage. Anyone heard of them before? Used them?
ALSO keep seeing DIAMOND cut reeds for sale. Boxes of 25. Ever heard of these or know anything about them?
Thanks for your input.....John

If they're from the same place, there's a music store in Montreal called Twiggs.

Sylvain from McGill should know.

Diamond cut, french file cut, etc. are euphimisms for machine-made.

Bottom line, less than 50 cents a reed is pretty good if you have to rework most.

If the box is $5 or less, why not give them a try?

Me, I would wait until the new Oliveri reed comes out of Muncy Winds and buy Vandys on sale until then. They may not be great, but the potential is there.
