well, yesterday was it ....my final lesson of the summer. thank you everyone who replied to my post "should i tell my teacher the truth"
i had decided not to because i had talked to him about some non-clarinet issues the previous week, and i didnt want him to think i was there for a counseling session. i was just going to go in there and do my best.
but, as it turns out, as soon as he asked me if i was doing any better, i told him no and apologized .and then told him exactly what was wrong. he was understanding. my lesson could have been better, but it wasnt as bad as the previous week. im glad i told him the truth. i think i would have regretted it if i hadnt.
thanks everyone

We're proud of you.
Relax now, rest and don't add to many activities to your schedule.
All the best to you,

janlyn -
I think you already knew what some of us have had to learn the hard way; that the truth is always the best approach. Now you can put that behind and look forward to getting better. Hope you'll keep us posted how you're doing. That's foremost.
