Just wonder, is Boosey & Hawkes related to BUFFET? The reason I'm asking is because I saw this wood Boosey & Hawkes Clarinet at a pawnshop for 190Cnd (around 130us). Which model of Boosey and Hawkes are of good quality. And how can i tell? ( ie: logos, model#..etc)

For many years they were separate companies. Then in 1986, B & H bought out Buffet lock, stock, and barrel. B & H then ceased to make clarinets under the B & H name continuing only the Buffet line of clarinets. The Buffet clarinets continue to be made in the Buffet factories.
