You really should go ahead and work through Volume II of the Rubank Advanced. However you can supplement with additional material such as the complete Klose or Baermann methods. You should also start working on etude books if you haven't already. Some good ones are the Rose 32 Etudes, Rose 40 Etudes, Rose 20 Grand Etudes, Cavallini Caprices, several books by Jean-Jean and so on.

Try Melodius and Progressive Studies Book 1, edited by David Hite and published by Southern. I wouldn't get into the Cavallini Caprices or Jean-Jean yet. They're quite a bit harder. Some of the Rose studies and the Baermann method would be a good idea, though.

I agree with Micaela. I went through Melodius and Progressive Studies books 1 and 2. They really helped get me playing and also prepared me for the rose etudes. Try them.
