 Beethoven and Rossini~

Hey everyone, right now I'm working on the excerpts from Beethoven's 2nd symphony and the Rossini Semiramis overture. I was just wondering what tempos I should take them at. I have recordings, but they're not the best orchestras, just looking of different suggestions. Thanks!
