Here's another interesting ad on ebay.
(I still haven't figured out how to make this an active link. Sorry)

I know you mean to treat us to a good laugh, Azzacca, and you do :] but I find this kind of eBay stuff also disturbing.
I don't want to accuse anyone of flasifying personal information because I have no way of checking it out. Let me just say I find some distortion in this seller's statements. In one item description he states he knows almost nothing about clarinets, in another he says he plays the clarinet and has studied with the late Robert Marcellus. This horn is designed by students of Mitchell Laurie and endorsed by Mr. Laurie, the seller says. This seller also changes names and addresses like the rest of us change our socks and underwear.
The problem is that unsuspecting, uninformed people, like parents of aspiring music students buy this Quatsch.

Though I agree with him on the Parrots (haven't seen the new Bestlers), and I'm not a lawyer, but did't he just set himself up to be slammed by Parrot and Bestler? Just what is he selling? Good or bad, if he doesn't post a picture, his bids will be a lot lower.

Did you look at the feedback? I may be mistaken but it looks to me like this guy never stays long enough in one place for a lawsuit to catch up with him. I doubt Parrot or Bestler care a hoot what this guy says - if they do take note they possibly see it as free advertising... for them.
A picture might be too revealing. Maybe it has red plastic pads.

Ron,
Where are you getting your information? This seller's feedback doesn't indicate any problems to me. It seems to me you are making some rather serious accusations here. What is your basis?

I'm getting my info from the seller's feedback.
For example:
The present auction, referred to above, lists MKRTR as the seller, no bid yet.
Feedback lists:
1. Seller: poopsie... Boswell, IN
High Bidder: MRKTR
2. Seller: lill... Viictroia, TX
High Bidder: MRKTR
3. Seller: hepcats... MN Iron Range
High Bidder: MRKTR
4. Seller: philkono... San Diego, CA
High Bidder MRKTR
5. Seller: raisin... Farmington, CT
High Bidder MRKTR
I'm not making accusations, I'm stating facts. Read it yourself

I see whatyour talking about Ron. It sounds alot like a guy that set up shop in one of the nearby towns. He stayed there for a few months and then left town with a lot of instruments that were there for repairs or on consignment. I ended up giving an old Vito to a 7th grader who lost her horn to this guy.

I'm sorry, I still don't understand. I buy on Ebay, from sellers all over the country. It appears that this person does this too. I don't see anything fishy here.

Well, buyer beware. It's suspicious enough to avoid. However, the auction has ended without a bidder--so perhaps he won't relist. HA!

Although I am not familiar with the seller's ebay transactions, I do know that Adam's Music
is an established Los Angeles music store. I take clarinet lessons there.
