How many of you take the solo entrance after the Tutti, where the quarter note’s at about 125 bps with the right hand already down?

It seems to me that the four notes taken with the left hand before, and any muffling of their sound having the right hand down causes, especially given their short duration given the speed, is made up for a planting the full fingered “C” after the throat tones.

Then again, maybe the technical obstacles here are less so for players better than me.

It looks to me as if Drucker *does* have his right hand down. I'm surprised the F# isn't noticeably flat.
