Bought a used clarinet and found rosin (the type used for bows) in the accessories pocket.
The clarinet was sold to me by a brother of an original owner, the brother does not play clarinet.
Any ideas why there would be rosin in a clarinet case?
Thanks

Maybe they played violin as well as clarinet and it got misplaced, or maybe someone told them it could be used instead of stick or flake shellac for resticking in loose pads.
