I've been checking threads here for over a week now. Everyone here is so helpful. Tips on reeds, mouthpieces, etc. The few threads I've started have been aproached and good advice given (without making me feel stupid for asking)
This is a great messageboard. A great collection of regulars.
I know this is off topic for a forum like this, but I just wanted to say "cheers" to everyone and give a thank you for being so supportive to all that post here.
Ok, sorry. Back to your regular scheduled programing.

And it's great to have new people on board. The more minds that come together here, the more insight there is to all things clarinet and music. All of us have a chance to learn here. We should all be so appreciative for the work of every person who keeps up this site, especially our grande meastro, himself, Mr. Mark Charette. It's not just the BB, but this whole website that has so much information.

I've been reading this board for probobly about a year now, and I have to say I've learned tons from this board as well in fact I've prob learned more from this site about technical stuff and musical stuff than I ever did in my 7 years of band throughout Middle School and High School (I'm a sophmore in college now)

This is the regular scheduled programming :|)
I agree with you, 7. I've learned more from visiting here than I would have dreamed possible only a couple of years ago. And, I've been around a long, long time. I try to contribute if/when I can but I've gained far more than I'll ever be able to return. I only wish something like this had been available many, many years ago when I was playing way more than I do now. It's a great resource that I personally count among the many blessings that come my way each and every day. Mark Charette has done a wonderful service for all of us who benefit from his expertise putting it together for us. Thank you, Mark. And thank you, 7, for reminding us that it's all too easy to take things for granted.

I've been hanging out here for almost a year now and did not know what a ligature was when I got here ..............(some exotic island disease?).
I have learned several of the clarinet parts now so I am getting ready to put it together and learn to play it.
