 I am impressed

I have recently sold a Selmer Recital A clarinet. It was a very nice instrument with easy response /low resistance, had some tuning problems I was able to correct. Looks like it is not popular in the US, possibly due to its dark tone?

A few days ago, I came across a used Signature A. It came today, looks in decent condition but the upper joint got leaks.
Tried it and love it so far- the tone is lovely, tuning seems OK. Upper joint needs new pads, venting needs to be checked but nothing significant.
Considering installing pads with resonators into the lower four.
If anyone had their Signature done over, I'd like to know what pads were used and if you liked it.
All in all, Selmer seems to be really stepping up to the top of the game. The sound concept is different from Buffet's, but that is a matter of preference.

I much prefer the Signature A clarinet over the Recital A for many reasons. It has better intonation, sound quality, lower weight, more comfortable keywork. You can install cork pads on the upper joint for improved response and resonator pads on the lower 4 pads improves the response on the clarinet as well.
