Still Here!

And still working on my clarineting. I figured I ought to make an update as so many of you have been so very kind to me these past years.

I've ended my streak of lurking here without posting!

I have acquired a bit more experience now! I sound... ok. And I'm moving up in the world, playing occasional gigs as second clarinet/ bass clarinet in my school's orchestra (Actually it's a combination of the area's professional symphony orchestra with some Millikin students sprinkled in here and there). I moved up to third chair in the university wind ensemble. I'm mainly a bass clarinetist in the university clarinet quartet, but occasionally I'll be clarinet 3. Sophomore year is going all right, I'd say.

I can play bass clarinet, Eb clarinet, BBb contra, alto saxophone, bassoon at a decent level, and flute in a pinch.

Congrats!

I'm beginning year 3 as a doubler.

Rehearsal tomorrow night for our clarinet choir. I'm on third.

Aging classical trumpet player learning clarinet as a second.
