Hi folks! I have here a Selmer Paris Model 33 bass clarinet to low Eb, #D66XX. It is missing this post & pivot screw at the bottom of the rod for the low E/B pad. Does anyone know where I could find these parts or happen to have a spare?

I would contact the clarinet repair shops directly. Maybe, parts from Bundy bass would fit.
I hope you get replies from techs- they would know where to look for the post.

I'm not trying to be snarky, but for the sake of accuracy, if it goes down only to low Eb it's a Model 32. Other than that, the features are the same and I don't know what the difference in the mechanism is at that point as the low Eb key extends to the bell on the 32, rather than on the body of the lower joint on the 33. I'm guessing the posts and pivot screws are probably the same.

I've had my model 33 with the low C since 1971. It's a great horn.

A little more information, for the sake of accuracy:

Quote:

...the Model 30 had the standard key configuration, down to low E-flat and no left hand Eb/Ab key. I don't remember if it had the articulated c#/G# key.

The Model 32 was also standard range, plus the left hand Eb/Ab and articulated C#/G# key.

I have that information on good authority – your post from 2023-06-09. :)

I have a Model 30 – no articulated C#G#.
