5 piece low eb cases are hard to find now. the one piece pro tec is all you are likely to find

See if you can get a Yamaha case for low Eb basses - either the plastic case for the YCL-221 (same outer shell as their plastic 200 series alto sax case) or the wooden case for the YCL-621.

The original post is asking for a case with better protection as opposed to a glorified carrier bag.
Although gig bags and the like do offer job security.

More protective than what...?
Bonna, Reed & Squeak, Bam and Wiseman all make twp piece Eb bass cases. I've had or tried all of these except the Bonna. Each of these has its own advantages.
I think you could also find a good suitcase type case for a two piece bass but I would never buy a bass case without backpack straps.
The R&S is far more protective than a gig bag. I've been using mine for years, walking with it, put it in the back or boot of the car (or sometimes standing in the front) bumping against other bags, etc., not being more careful than you'd be with any case and it's fine. I wouldn't sit or stand on it which I could with the Wiseman.
